As you make your way through TTC for the first time, you may encounter unfamiliar terms. The glossary below is provided to help you talk TTC with the pros.

Application
A group or fleet of similar vehicles which performs the same duties. The best practice is to group vehicles that use the same or similar tyre sizes.
Disposition
Pre-defined status of tyres/rims
Form
Hard copy for input of data to system
Manufacturer
Unless specified, refers to tyre/rim manufacturer
Tread Depth Period End
A tread depth audit
Production Downtime
Non-scheduled tyre related vehicle downtime
Non-Production Downtime
Scheduled tyre related vehicle downtime
Real-time Wear Rate
Rate of tyre hours/distance per unit of tread consumed on tyres in service
Record
One line of data, e.g. the details of a specific tyre.
Sheet
A data display used to view, enter, amend or delete records.
Static Data
Data that cannot be amended or updated by the user (may only be amended by a system administrator).
Tab
Tab at the bottom of any particular sheet.  Clicking on any tab will take you to an inactive sheet.
Tread Utilisation Rate (TUR)
Rate of tread consumed on tyres permanently removed from service
